Select a builder with whom you feel comfortable. Make sure he has excellent references and is someone with whom you can communicate. It's like a marriage... you will be together for a while through the process.
Before you start spending money, let the builder help you with a realistic budget. It does no good to start drawing up plans, only to find it is out of budget. We have years of experience to accurately advise you on specific costs and can help you avoid costly pitfalls.
Line up your financing FIRST. Most people qualify for more than they want to spend monthly. You know what you can afford, so budget your project accordingly. Let the builder help you.
Don't be led astray by promises or low prices quoted to you. Believe me, a builder can cut corners one hundred different ways, and you might not know it until later...when you move in. Home cost is in the selection and the quality, not the builder's profit! If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!
Have the details of what you are getting (selections) spelled out.
Be careful of so-called builders that put the building up, then hand you off to someone else to do the rest of the work. You want to have a single source responsible for the whole job...one person who is your point of contact and will coordinate the entire project.
Having the foundation and metal building engineered is a MUST! That is the basis of the entire structure. These are just a few points to help you avoid wasting your money. I hope they are helpful to you whether or not you select Tri County Builders. We would love to have the opportunity to work with you on your DREAM home! Sincerely, Tony Mangold
